In May 1977, Elton John joined drumming legend Ray Cooper for six shows at London's legendary Rainbow Theatre. These performances were the first of 233 Elton and Ray shows to follow and included the live debut of the tracks "Roy Rogers", "Cage The Songbird", "Idol" and "I Feel Like A Bullet (In The Gun Of Robert Ford)".
The album was initially released in a limited edition on vinyl for Record Store Day and is now available on CD for the first time. The CD edition includes the brand new bonus track "Goodbye" as well as the original twelve track list compiled by Elton himself and additional liner notes.
