Overview

The S-125 Neva/Pechora, designated by NATO as the SA-3 Goa, is a Soviet-designed surface-to-air missile (SAM) system. Introduced in the early 1960s, it was developed to complement the high-altitude SA-1 and SA-2 systems, providing crucial defence against low-to-medium altitude threats. The system typically pairs the 5V27 missiles with the 5P71 twin-rail launcher.
