Overview

Appearing in the final months of World War II, the Sd.Kfz. 251/22D was a potent tank destroyer variant of the ubiquitous German Hanomag half-track. In a desperate attempt to bring more anti-tank firepower to the front lines, the powerful 7.5 cm PaK 40 gun was mounted onto the Ausf.D chassis, creating a highly mobile and hard-hitting weapon capable of ambushing Allied armour. Only a small number were produced before the war's end.

This huge 1/16 scale kit from Trumpeter is a highly detailed replica of this rare late-war vehicle. With over 800 parts, it is a complex project featuring a complete interior, including the driver's compartment and the fighting compartment surrounding the PaK 40 gun.
