Overview

Developed by Germany during WWII, the V-1 flying bomb (Fieseler Fi 103) was one of the first-ever cruise missiles. Nicknamed the "Doodlebug" by the British for the distinctive sound of its pulse jet engine, this unmanned weapon was launched in large numbers against cities in south-eastern England and Belgium.

This 1/48 scale kit from Tamiya accurately reproduces the simple, cigar-shaped form of this historic weapon.
