Overview

HMS Rodney was a unique and powerful battleship of the British Royal Navy, completed in 1927. Her revolutionary design placed all three of her massive triple 40.6cm (16-inch) gun turrets forward of the bridge, giving her a distinctive and formidable appearance. Rodney had a distinguished career in WWII, participating in many famous actions, most notably her key role in the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck.
