Overview

To provide light infantry and airborne units with a mobile anti-tank capability, the versatile M151 "Mutt" was adapted to carry the powerful BGM-71 TOW missile system. This combination created a fearsome "tank hunter," able to quickly reposition and engage enemy armour from a distance, becoming a vital asset for U.S. forces throughout the Cold War.

This classic 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the M151A2 TOW carrier. The model's highlight is the highly detailed M220 TOW missile system, which can be mounted on the vehicle or built separately on its ground-based tripod.
