Overview

During the middle stages of WWII, the Panzer III was adapted to a new and vital infantry support role. The Ausf.N variant was up-gunned with a short-barrelled 7.5cm cannon, capable of firing powerful high-explosive shells. These reliable tanks were deployed to heavy tank battalions to make up for shortages of the Tiger I, and served with distinction on multiple fronts, including Russia and North Africa.

This 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the Panzer III Ausf.N. The model features premium components, including a high-precision turned aluminium gun barrel and photo-etched parts for the engine grilles.
