Overview

When the P-38 Lightning first flew, it catapulted fighter design into the future. With its distinctive twin-boom design and long-range capabilities, later versions became awesome fighters. This 1/48 scale Academy kit is incredibly versatile, including all the optional parts to build one of four distinct variants: the standard P-38J fighter, the glass-nosed "Droopsnoot" bomber leader, the P-38L "Pathfinder," or the F-5E photo-recon aircraft.
